Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edson Ceresso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 minutes, Rafinha Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ubaporanga SC and the Pacia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Rafinha Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Souto hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gláuber Cearense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ubaporanga SC's zone, Edson Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir de Carvalho came out of the goal and Edson Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ubaporanga SC booed when Pacia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafinha Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Guto Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Pacia got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Tinoco. After recieving a nice pass, Ubaporanga SC's Valdemar Diniz tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Elivélton Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elivélton Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elivélton Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Ubaporanga SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Almir de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Meireles in the 49th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute Robinho Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almir de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Ubaporanga SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Gláuber Cearense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Almir de Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. Almir de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Ceresso in the 72nd minute of the match. Robinho Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Almir de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacia. Nildo de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Nildo de Mendonça reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guto Arruda. The goal made the score 1-1. Pacia's Edson Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubaporanga SC's Nildo de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guto Arruda. That made the score 1-2 after 91 minutes of play. After 98 played minutes, Pacia's João Francisco Bueno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Almir de Carvalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pacia reached it. Ubaporanga SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
