Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ediberto Vianna made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Itatingui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Vianna came free, but Gilmar Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Gomes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Paulinho de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aluísio Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Eduardo Gomes went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis Veloso in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aluísio Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Itatingui FC's Paulinho de Barros in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaciaba EC's goalie prevented a goal. Aluísio Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediberto Vianna's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When Luiz Eduardo Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itatingui FC's protests and gave Luiz Eduardo Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jaciaba EC booed when Itatingui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulinho de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Alberto Ortiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Ortiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Nando Catarinense hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Itatingui FC's Edmílson Leal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jaciaba EC. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Paulinho de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itatingui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aluísio Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulinho de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Paulinho de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilmar Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Vianna in the 53rd minute of the match. Aluísio Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clóvis Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jaciaba EC's Artur Jacinto got a free kick in the 58th minute. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Paulinho de Barros sped through Jaciaba EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aluísio Donato. Paulinho de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Vander hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Clóvis Veloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aluísio Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Alberto Ortiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilmar Andrade having to make a save. Clóvis Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Aluísio Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Veloso in the 86th minute of play forced Jaciaba EC's goalkeeper Aluísio Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Jaciaba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Veloso came free, but Aluísio Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Paulinho de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itatingui FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Paulinho de Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aluísio Donato. Jaciaba EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulinho de Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Itatingui FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
