Gilvan Nóbrega came out of the goal and Serginho Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serginho Machado in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osmar Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dário Pitta fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mamory's protests and gave Dário Pitta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Dário Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Samuel Severo from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Michel Ortiz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The wind increased when Osmar Penha made the kick off in the second half. Serginho Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dário Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Gilvan Nóbrega managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Mamory's Décio Macedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho França during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Mapixi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho França to maneuver through the defense. Serginho Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Nóbrega having to interfere. A collision led to Mapixi getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Luisinho França hit a great ball. Gilvan Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Dário Pitta sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Mapixi's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Machado came free, but Gilvan Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mamory players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
