After a rather tough play, Rajada EC's Ismael Perez got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Anísio de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Thiago Marquez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juarês Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rajada EC booed when Diamante Negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rajada EC's Víktor Penha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dadá Britto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dadá Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Velloso in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Rajada EC booed when Diamante Negro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Juarês Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Patrick Oliveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thiago Marquez. The goal made the score 2-0. Frédson Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Britto having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Oliveira to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Ismael Perez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dadá Britto. Ismael Perez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. When Juarês Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Rajada EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Velloso couldn't finish the play. Dadá Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Váldson Coutinho's late challenge caught a Rajada EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Váldson Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Váldson Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Frédson Galvão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Dadá Britto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Diamante Negro getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ronaldão Vianna hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Rajada EC were awarded a corner. Víktor Penha went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juarês Velloso in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadá Britto saved Diamante Negro from getting behind. Dadá Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Velloso in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Rajada EC defense, Delfim Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Marquez. The Rajada EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Marquez should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd match minute, Diamante Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Dadá Britto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Víktor Penha. Diamante Negro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
