The Minador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vágner Prado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Moura in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Frédson de Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vágner Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Moura in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vágner Prado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Gonçalves in the 33rd minute of play forced Minador's goalkeeper Evaristo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alcantilado SS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Arlindo Pernambucano hit a great ball. If Dino Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vágner Prado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Alcantilado SS's Vágner Prado got control of the ball when Tomás Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute Dino Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vágner Prado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
