In the 5th minute Fabiano Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tremendal SC's Fabiano Vander in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tremendal SC's Lauro Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Tremendal SC from getting a goal against them. Tremendal SC's Lauro Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho dos Santos in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Tremendal SC's Lauro Arósio got control of the ball when Zézinho Bastos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Zézinho Bastos could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Lauro Arósio however easily saved by the left post. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 29th minute, but Lauro Arósio got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Tremendal SC hanging dry this time. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betinho Alves in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guto Bueno saved Sirigado AD from getting behind. Guto Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Vander in the 34th minute of the match. Betinho Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Betinho Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zézinho Bastos succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Zézinho Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Arósio having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardinho dos Santos made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betinho Alves got free with Guto Bueno in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Tremendal SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho dos Santos came free, but Lauro Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Bastos in the 59th minute of play. Zézinho Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zézinho Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 90 minutes, Ricardinho dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirigado AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardinho dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lauro Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Tremendal SC got a freekick which was hit by Germano Medeiros. Celsinho de Amaral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lauro Arósio. Tremendal SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
