Cauã Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Moura in the 7th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Paulistas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Pernambucano came free, but José Paulo Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paulistas FC's zone, Duarte do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paulo Montenegro came out of the goal and Duarte do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rodrigo Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. José Paulo Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Pedro Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo Montenegro. Paulistas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. José Pedro Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trindade's Cauã Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Trindade from getting a goal against them. When Jânio Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trindade's protests and gave Jânio Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. Jânio Marinho hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Pedro Trigo got free with Cauã Loureiro in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Duarte do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Paulistas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trindade were winning 0-2.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, José Paulo Montenegro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Duarte do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Montenegro having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Duarte do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo Montenegro. Paulistas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 60 minutes into the match, Trindade's Duarte do Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Paulo Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Angelo Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 played minutes Trindade got a freekick which was hit by Lauro de Senna. José Paulo Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rodrigo Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. After 78 minutes of play Trindade's Jânio Marinho was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Trindade's Jânio Marinho got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Paulistas FC's Manfredo Dias broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Angelo Moura put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cauã Loureiro. José Pedro Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Loureiro having to interfere. Cauã Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Pedro Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
