The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murilo Favoretto was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Gerber's late challenge caught a Xerem FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. Xerem FC's Remo Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Xerem FC from getting a goal against them. Murilo Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Remo Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murilo Favoretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remo Miranda having to make a save. Jerônimo Salles struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Eurico Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xerem FC. Remo Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tardelli Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
