Agostinho Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. CORINTHIANS's Nuno Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Ferreira in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, CORINTHIANS's Jailson Cabral got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mário Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Kléber Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sebastião Costa hit a great ball. CORINTHIANS played a much better game than Lagunita SC and deserved their victory. The Lagunita SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
