Xanxerê Futebol Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Xanxerê Futebol Clube's Leonel Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto de Almeida in the 26th minute of play. Daniel Prata charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Prata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gremio Futebol POA FC booed when Xanxerê Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiori Costa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonel Mangueira. Xanxerê Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Didi Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Didi Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto de Almeida made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Víktor Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didi Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luís Guilherme Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Didi Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didi Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. The supporters of Xanxerê Futebol Clube booed when Gremio Futebol POA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Xanxerê Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Leonel Mangueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto de Almeida. Xanxerê Futebol Clube's Didi Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Víktor Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Gremio Futebol POA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Araújo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Gremio Futebol POA FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lauro da Silva hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
