The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Porcas's Júlio de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto de Toledo in the 9th minute of the match. If Dário Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiquinho Neiva in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Porcas's Hugo Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Porcas from getting a goal against them. Diego Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Porcas's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Neiva came free, but Hugo Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Chiquinho Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porcas's Hugo Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Valdemar Dante fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porcas's protests and gave Valdemar Dante a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Porcas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Valdemar Dante hit a great ball. Diego Severo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio de Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Júlio de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chiquinho Neiva made a kick off. A collision led to Porcas getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Narciso Gonçalves hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Dário Vinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Tasso was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute Júlio de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Severo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio de Queiroz in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Severo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiquinho Neiva in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiquinho Neiva in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Carice SS's zone, Alberto de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Severo came out of the goal and Alberto de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Chiquinho Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alberto de Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto de Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chiquinho Neiva in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Tasso saved Porcas from getting behind. Dário Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Tasso having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Alberto de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porcas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto de Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th match minute, Carice SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Carice SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
