Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Severino Munhoz got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, Pessegueiro's Luisão Mineiro threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zézinho Lopes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Tonelada's Severino Munhoz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Luís Gustavo Negri scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisão Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pessegueiro's Maicon Miranda got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Fabiano da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes, Pessegueiro's Wanderson Freitas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luisão Mineiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pessegueiro reached it. Tonelada's Luisão Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Borges in the 19th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Gustavo Borges took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Luisão Mineiro to make any attempt to save it. Tonelada's Luisão Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Borges in the 27th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Gustavo Borges got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 32nd minute, Pessegueiro's Zézinho Lopes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luisão Mineiro. Luisão Mineiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 37th minute, Luís Gustavo Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luisão Mineiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Dalmo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gernando Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Felippe Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tonelada and the Pessegueiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Gustavo Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zézinho Lopes was the one to do the kick off. Luisão Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Gustavo Negri's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Luisão Mineiro came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Pessegueiro's Luís Gustavo Negri. But to his dismay, Luís Gustavo Negri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, Pessegueiro's Maicon Miranda got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Severino Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Luisão Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisão Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Zézinho Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisão Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Lopes in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Severino Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tonelada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Luciano Cearense in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tonelada's Dalmo Fontes. Dalmo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gernando Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pessegueiro support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
