In the 9th minute Geovani de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Geovani de Moraes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Areinhas SC's Nico Melo. Nico Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Noel Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coripos and the Areinhas SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Coripos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Simões to maneuver through the defense. Areinhas SC's Nico Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani de Moraes in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Geovani de Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Melo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Coripos's Léo Aguiar got a free kick in the 29th minute. Noel Amaral hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Luisinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Melo having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Coripos's Geovani de Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nico Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 48 minutes into the game, Noel Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Areinhas SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coripos the free kick. Noel Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Coripos's Arí Linhares broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovani de Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Areinhas SC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani de Moraes came free, but Nico Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 59th minute of the match Luiz Fabiano Simões completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luiz Fabiano Simões a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luiz Fabiano Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Hortêncio Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisinho Xavier in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Coripos's Luisinho Xavier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Nico Melo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Luisinho Xavier sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Luisinho Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Areinhas SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Luisinho Xavier scored to the left of an out of position Nico Melo, making the score, 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Luisinho Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coripos's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisinho Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisinho Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Nico Melo made a huge save. 98 minutes into the match, Luisinho Xavier notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Areinhas SC's Nico Melo. Nico Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Coripos played a much better game than Areinhas SC and deserved their victory. The Areinhas SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
