Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ian Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, P O R T U G A L's Zé Carlos Neiva got control of the ball when José Carlos Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrique Linhares charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Linhares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes PÂNICO got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Linhares. In the 10thth minute of the game José Carlos Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but P O R T U G A L's Zé Carlos Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to P O R T U G A L getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Joaquim Negri hit a great ball. The supporters of P O R T U G A L booed when PÂNICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. PÂNICO's Betão Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Sousa in the 23rd minute of play. P O R T U G A L's Geovani Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Carlos Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Carlos Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. José Carlos Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Zé Carlos Neiva made a huge save. Percival Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Carlos Neiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Geovani Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Zé Carlos Neiva made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Carlos Velasco got free with Zé Carlos Neiva in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquim Negri hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in P O R T U G A L's zone, José Carlos Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos Neiva came out of the goal and José Carlos Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Carlos Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. If José Carlos Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zé Carlos Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to P O R T U G A L getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ian Sousa hit a great ball. Ian Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Geovani Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Percival Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Carlos Velasco in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos Neiva saved P O R T U G A L from getting behind. José Carlos Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zé Carlos Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovani Matos's late challenge caught a PÂNICO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovani Matos helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes P O R T U G A L got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Matos. If Percival Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chico Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chico Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PÂNICO's Chico Rocha got a free kick in the 81st minute. Enrique Linhares hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. José Carlos Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Neiva having to interfere. A collision led to P O R T U G A L getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Igor de Moraes hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the PÂNICO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
