Iguitu's Conrado Marquez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Horizonte Futebol Clube. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tostão Pinho to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Iguitu booed when Horizonte Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Pedro Favoretto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciro Sampaio. Ciro Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Antônio Tróia hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Flavinho Vaz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Iguitu's Giuseppe de Almeida didn't even have to move.
