The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Maneco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Toledo to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Isaltino Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tentugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maneco FC the free kick. Isaltino Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Luís Leal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charles Prestes skillfully saved the ball. If Duda Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinei Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Prestes having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Maneco FC's Dinei Messias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Maneco FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Tentugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Leal took the corner. Hílton Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Digo Soeiro in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Paulão Braga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maneco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tentugal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Maneco FC's Paulão Braga got a free kick in the 39th minute. Digo Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Maneco FC's Duda Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Teixeira to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Dinei Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duda Sena in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Prestes saved Tentugal from getting behind. If Dinei Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Duda Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Tentugal's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Messias came free, but Charles Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Charles Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Dinei Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Moraes came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Tentugal's Digo Soeiro. But to his dismay, Digo Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Duda Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinei Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Tentugal's Adhemar Teixeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hílton Moraes. Hílton Moraes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After some careless play in the Tentugal defense, Dinei Messias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Prestes. The Tentugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Prestes should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Duda Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maneco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Duda Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duda Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Prestes having to interfere. Rubinho Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Dinei Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maneco FC had played much better football throughout.
