When Filipe Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Victor E. C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Quadros couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Zézinho Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes of play, Victor E. C's Filipe Quadros made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 minutes of play, Victor E. C's Filipe Quadros made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Quadros scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bariri EC's Giovanni Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Correia in the 30th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filipe Quadros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Filipe Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Ediberto Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victor E. C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bariri EC the free kick. A collision led to Victor E. C getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ediberto Arce hit a great ball. Jean Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Victor E. C's zone, Vicente Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toninho Rosado came out of the goal and Vicente Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Magno Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Vicente Paraense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Toninho Rosado came out and tried to block the shot, but Vicente Paraense slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 68th minute. Toninho Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Guilherme Lago in the 75th minute. Jean Trancoso hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Caco Correia hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Victor E. C's goalkeeper Toninho Rosado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Guilherme Lago. In the 95th minute, Enrique Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor E. C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
