Arthur Xavier made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Luís Passos sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Luís Passos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arthur Xavier, 1-1. In the 15th minute, Hernani Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Passos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Xavier saved Camapoan from getting behind. After having played for 21 minutes, Gualter Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camapoan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arthur Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Passos in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Camapoan booed when Cacapava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Camapoan's zone, Luís Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Xavier came out of the goal and Luís Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Passos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arthur Xavier having to make a save. If Carlos Eduardo Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Passos in the 43rd minute of play. With a little luck, Camapoan's Arthur Xavier got control of the ball when Carlos Eduardo Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Camapoan's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Passos came free, but Arthur Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Camapoan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Passos to make the kick off. Carlos Eduardo Paiva took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Xavier. Arthur Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Carlos Eduardo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Arthur Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Luís Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cacapava had played much better football throughout.
