Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Eduardo Paiva could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Dênis Pontes however easily saved by the left post. Luiz Eduardo Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Passos's shot from short distance in the 87th minute.
