Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Davi Senna started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avahy's goalkeeper Alberto Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Amaragy AD's zone, Enéas Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Mazza came out of the goal and Enéas Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Enéas Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jano Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jano Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Avahy defense, Rubinho Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Trigo. The Avahy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Trigo should have stopped the shot. Wágner Messias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Trigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Wágner Messias slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 24th minute. Avahy's Vitório da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Avahy's Davi Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Silva's late challenge caught a Avahy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Silva helped the player get up and apologised. Cipriano Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Luís Paulo Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório da Rocha in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Davi Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amaragy AD's Luís Paulo Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Pedro Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Cipriano Silva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alberto Trigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Silva slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Avahy's zone, Marcos Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Trigo came out of the goal and Marcos Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Vitório da Rocha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Paulo Mazza. The goal made the score 4-1. Alberto Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Amaragy AD's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Senna came free, but Luís Paulo Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jano Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Avahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jano Queirós couldn't finish the play. Davi Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Luís Paulo Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitório da Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Luís Paulo Mazza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amaragy AD's Luís Paulo Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Senna in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Cipriano Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Amaragy AD's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório da Rocha. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jano Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jano Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avahy's Jano Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Davi Senna in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Vitório da Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Luís Paulo Mazza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luís Paulo Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Senna in the 82nd minute of play. Enéas Jacinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulo Mazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Vitório da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Paulo Mazza. Amaragy AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After 88 played minutes Amaragy AD got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Novaes. In the 94th minute, Jano Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Amaragy AD players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
