Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandrinho Vargas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Tinoco notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Onhapora's Fred Galvão. Fred Galvão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Borel's Aluísio Faria in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Onhapora's goalie prevented a goal. Fred Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aluísio Faria in the 9th minute of the match. Aluísio Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fred Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Amorim in the 19th minute of the match. Onhapora's João Pedro Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Onhapora booed when Borel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Sandrinho Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandrinho Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borel's Marcos Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Amorim in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Michel Vander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onhapora the free kick. After 35 played minutes Borel got a freekick which was hit by Michel Vander. Marcos Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Amorim in the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Sandrinho Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Amorim in the 47th minute of play forced Borel's goalkeeper Marcos Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aluísio Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Onhapora's Rony Trevisan got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes Borel got a freekick which was hit by Aluísio Faria. If Sandrinho Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandrinho Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marcos Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Aluísio Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aluísio Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rony Trevisan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Matos. Borel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcos Matos made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when João Pedro Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Aluísio Faria struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fred Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borel. The audience was convinced that Vivaldo Quirino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Galvão was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. João Pedro Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. João Pedro Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Matos having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Onhapora's Sandrinho Vargas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fred Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aluísio Faria in the 90th minute of play. Aluísio Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Vargas in the 94th minute of play forced Borel's goalkeeper Marcos Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Rony Trevisan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Matos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Borel had won after a very even match.
