Onhapora's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruninho de Andrade, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lenílson Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pedro Amorim in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Onhapora fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dark Wolves United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
