Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Tarcisio Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grotas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Luzia FC the free kick. The supporters of Santa Luzia FC booed when Grotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Elder Félix sped through Grotas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel de Amaral. A collision led to Grotas FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tarcisio Palmeira hit a great ball. Eliézer Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Geovânio Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Luzia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 played minutes Grotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Medeiros. When Elder Félix came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Santa Luzia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Félix couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Grotas FC's zone, Haroldo Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel de Amaral came out of the goal and Haroldo Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grotas FC's Eliézer Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 27th minute of the match Tarcisio Palmeira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tarcisio Palmeira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Félix in the 30th minute of play forced Grotas FC's goalkeeper Leonel de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 31st minute when Elder Félix elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Elder Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Leonel de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Elder Félix made a precise shot to the right of Leonel de Amaral. Grotas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Elder Félix sped through Grotas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel de Amaral. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eliézer Zanette made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Dalmo Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Santa Luzia FC's Elder Félix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel de Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliézer Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Erki Allik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elder Félix in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel de Amaral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Leonel de Amaral throw himself and got hold of the ball when Elder Félix in the 70thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Santa Luzia FC's Elder Félix in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grotas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Grotas FC's Leonel de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder Félix in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grotas FC's goalkeeper Leonel de Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonel de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Félix in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grotas FC's zone, Elder Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel de Amaral came out of the goal and Elder Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santa Luzia FC made a substitution. Orlando de Queiroz replaced Fred Mazza. Erki Allik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Zanette in the 83rd minute of the match. Adriana Lluis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Grotas FC booed when Santa Luzia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dalmo Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grotas FC's protests and gave Dalmo Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Santa Luzia FC booed when Grotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Félix in the 94th minute of play. Santa Luzia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
