Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) João Pedro Vidal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jeremias Zanette made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Norberto Quirino sent off a good shot on target. When Norberto Quirino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jeremias Zanette was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Nelson de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelson de Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamílton Carneiro having to make a save. Ulysses Barreto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Cordozal SC. João Francisco Duarte stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hamílton Carneiro. 0-1. Hamílton Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Jacinto in the 35th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson de Toledo made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Nelson de Toledo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hamílton Carneiro. That made the score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cordozal SC's Adrianinho Cavalcante got a free kick in the 54th minute. A collision led to Botuvera AD getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Vágner Gerber hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Botuvera AD's zone, Guga Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Carneiro came out of the goal and Guga Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cordozal SC's Jeremias Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Quirino in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Botuvera AD's Hamílton Carneiro got control of the ball when Nelson de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nelson de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Nelson de Toledo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamílton Carneiro, 0-4. A collision led to Cordozal SC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Adrianinho Cavalcante hit a great ball. Norberto Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jeremias Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamílton Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Botuvera AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cordozal SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
