Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Marques started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Oséas Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Tricolor FC's Benedito Ribeiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Wilton Camargo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Franklin Rosa made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Tricolor FC's goal looked a bit too open when César Toscano came free, but Luiz Fabiano Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Toscano in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fabiano Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes, Oséas Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arajara and the Tricolor FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Benedito Ribeiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arajara's Franklin Rosa didn't even have to move. Luiz Fabiano Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Mazinho Gonçalves hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Arajara's César Toscano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamim Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fabiano Neves having to make a save. Marquinhos Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fabiano Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Toscano in the 41st minute of play. César Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamim Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If César Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Toscano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamim Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Luiz Fabiano Neves made a huge save. César Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luiz Fabiano Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Toscano in the 59th minute of the match. If Wilton Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franklin Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Camargo in the 64th minute of play. Benjamim Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Luiz Fabiano Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Arajara's Luiz Fabiano Neves threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from César Toscano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. César Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Arajara got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Monteiro. The audience was convinced that Wilton Camargo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Rosa was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Benjamim Paranaense could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Luiz Fabiano Neves however easily saved by the left post. If César Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Franklin Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Viana's late challenge caught a Tricolor FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Viana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, one of Arajara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arajara. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Tricolor FC. Benedito Ribeiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Franklin Rosa. 1-0. Many of Arajara's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Arajara may have spent more time on the ball, but Tricolor FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
