Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arajara's César Toscano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Zé Paulo Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salqueiro SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulo Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes, Marquinhos Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arajara and the Salqueiro SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leopoldo Porto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Salqueiro SC's Zé Paulo Soares suffered a sore thigh after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovânio Braga during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, one of Arajara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arajara. In the 21st minute, Salqueiro SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after César Toscano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 25 played minutes Salqueiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Agenor Batista. César Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Mandrak having to interfere. Hermínio Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Toscano in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Arajara booed when Salqueiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agenor Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamim Paranaenses short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Hermínio Mandrak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute, Marquinhos Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamim Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Hermínio Mandrak made a huge save. In the 46th minute, César Toscano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hermínio Mandrak, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Salqueiro SC's Agenor Batista got a free kick in the 48th minute. Arajara's Ramón Viana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Salqueiro SC. The Arajara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salqueiro SC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arajara's goalkeeper Franklin Rosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Humberto Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Franklin Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamim Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermínio Mandrak having to make a save. Hermínio Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Benjamim Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arajara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamim Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Salqueiro SC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Leopoldo Porto hit a great ball. If Agenor Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Salqueiro SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
