Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Frederico Queiroz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the game, Mauro Pena threw the ball into play from the sideline. Massaranduba's José Augusto Cordeiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Dudu Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Massaranduba's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu Zilles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Durvalino Quaresma fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Levinopolis's protests and gave Durvalino Quaresma a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hugo Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Massaranduba's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Mário Veloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilvan Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute of the match Chicão Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrianinho Furtado skillfully saved the ball. Frederico Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Adrianinho Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dudu Zilles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugo Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Hugo Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Massaranduba got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Pinheiro. After 61 played minutes, Levinopolis's Jacinto Bittencourt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrianinho Furtado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Levinopolis reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dudu Zilles got free with Gilvan Lima in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederico Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Massaranduba's Adrianinho Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Cerezo in the 68th minute of play. Adrianinho Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. If Dudu Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Massaranduba's Hugo Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilvan Lima. That made the score 0-2 after 90 minutes of play. Adrianinho Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Massaranduba's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
