Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Carlos de Lara started the match with the kick off. João Carlos de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Yan Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Custódio da Fonseca in the 7th minute. Yan Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Doni de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arvorezinha EC's goalkeeper Yan Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Miguel Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arvorezinha EC and the Souzania players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Souzania booed when Arvorezinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Doni de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Souzania got a freekick which was hit by Victor de Lara. After 29 played minutes, Arvorezinha EC's Wilton Gerber shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Recife came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arvorezinha EC reached it. In the 33rd minute, Custódio da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Custódio da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Moreira having to interfere. João Carlos de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Yan Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doni de Castro made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos de Lara in the 58th minute of play forced Arvorezinha EC's goalkeeper Yan Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Custódio da Fonseca sped through Arvorezinha EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yan Moreira. Custódio da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Carlos de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos de Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Souzania got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos de Lara. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Dadá Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Souzania's supporters rose to their feet, but Dadá Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Custódio da Fonseca scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Custódio da Fonseca scored 4-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arvorezinha EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Victor de Lara walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 99 played minutes Arvorezinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso de Senna. In the 100th minute, Custódio da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Yan Moreira. Arvorezinha EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. There was no doubt that Souzania were the better team. Souzania's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
