Destruidor FC's Duarte Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Lima in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christiano Lima in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Martins saved Destruidor FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Christiano Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Martins was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Luizinho Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. After 35 minutes, Nilson Valadares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Destruidor FC and the Tormenta EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Christiano Lima put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte Martins. 68 minutes in the game, Fred Bittencourt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Duarte Martins having to interfere. Christiano Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Duarte Martins made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Destruidor FC's Ramiro Cardoso got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Fred Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Martins having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Bittencourt in the 77th minute of play forced Destruidor FC's goalkeeper Duarte Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christiano Lima succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 80th playminute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Fred Bittencourt took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Duarte Martins to make any attempt to save it. Duarte Martins was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Diamantino Abreu. When the final whistle sounded Tormenta EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Destruidor FC.
