But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Neves couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in IgorLopesFutebolClube's zone, Lucas Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Lopes came out of the goal and Lucas Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. IgorLopesFutebolClube's Amauri Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves in the 31st minute of play. Amauri Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Neves in the 33rd minute of the match. Beto Pirani charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beto Pirani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of IgorLopesFutebolClube booed when Montevidio EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Montevidio EC's zone, Teodoro Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Guilherme Cearense came out of the goal and Teodoro Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
