TradePro SC's Dorival Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Urbano in the 16th minute of play. Guto Gomes scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorival Marquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Imbuira AD's João Carlos Rezende got a free kick in the 21st minute. Fausto Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andrézinho Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ediberto Recife to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, TradePro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Urbano came free, but Dorival Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind TradePro SC's goalkeeper Dorival Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Imbuira AD played a much better game than TradePro SC and deserved their victory. The TradePro SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
