The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rômulo Loyola struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Umberto Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brejetubinha AD. Fryderyk Prosowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Paraibano in the 18th minute. Vito Santana's late challenge caught a Real Matismo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vito Santana helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 22 minutes, Alexsandro Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Matismo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexsandro Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23rd play minutes Genílson Dias shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Umberto Prata and just under the crossbar into goal. Real Matismo FC's Umberto Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Madureira in the 29th minute of play. Umberto Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genílson Dias's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Erasmo Paraibano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fryderyk Prosowski, 1-1. After 40 minutes, Genílson Dias made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Real Matismo FC's Umberto Prata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Silvinho de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

A collision led to Brejetubinha AD getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rômulo Loyola hit a great ball. Real Matismo FC's Umberto Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Dias in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Matismo FC's Gilvan Reis got a free kick in the 58th minute. Fryderyk Prosowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Porto in the 71st minute of play. Umberto Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Vito Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Real Matismo FC's goalkeeper Umberto Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Moraes. After 91 played minutes Real Matismo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Reis. Genílson Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Prata having to interfere. The Real Matismo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brejetubinha AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
