Indaial's Tiaguinho Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Valadares in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th minute, Antônio Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Valadares in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Torres got free with Tiaguinho Guerra in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Chopinzinho getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Leandro Sena hit a great ball. Celsinho Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Guerra having to interfere. In the 16th play minute Frederico Torres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tiaguinho Guerra. 1-0. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Antônio Alagoano sped through Chopinzinho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmo Lira. Indaial's Tiaguinho Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Valadares in the 25th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Celsinho Valadares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Indaial's Tiaguinho Guerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederico Torress short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Tiaguinho Guerra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frederico Torres struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tiaguinho Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chopinzinho. After some careless play in the Chopinzinho defense, Amauri Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Lira. The Chopinzinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Lira should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celsinho Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. Edu Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Celsinho Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Chopinzinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celsinho Valadares couldn't finish the play. Frederico Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Frederico Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chopinzinho's Frederico Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Chopinzinho's Celsinho Valadares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiaguinho Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Torres in the 72nd minute of play forced Indaial's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celsinho Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tiaguinho Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celsinho Valadares struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Tiaguinho Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chopinzinho. 83 minutes into the match, Indaial's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Torres came free, but Tiaguinho Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adhemar Tande fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Indaial's protests and gave Adhemar Tande a yellow card for diving instead. Adhemar Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Faustão Arce hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celsinho Valadares in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiaguinho Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frederico Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Celsinho Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Chopinzinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celsinho Valadares couldn't finish the play. Indaial were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Chopinzinho's much stronger midfield.
