Apuarema Junior's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Kaká Lopez scored to the left of an out of position Agostinho Castro, making the score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Apuarema Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Lopez came free, but Agostinho Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agostinho Castro was a little too slow when Kaká Lopez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. A collision led to Rua de Cima FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dé Paulista hit a great ball. Dorival Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Castro having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Frank Alves made a precise shot to the right of Agostinho Castro. Apuarema Junior's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 34th minute Kaká Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson Tande's late challenge caught a Rua de Cima FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson Tande helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Frank Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rua de Cima FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Válter Nunes got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agostinho Moura. In the 42nd minute, Frank Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rua de Cima FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Agostinho Castro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaká Lopez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaká Lopez to make the kick off. Apuarema Junior's Agostinho Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Ferreira in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Lopez in the 55th minute of play forced Apuarema Junior's goalkeeper Agostinho Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Couto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Apuarema Junior fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Rua de Cima FC. Frank Alves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Agostinho Castro. 7-0. Agostinho Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaká Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Kaká Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Frank Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rua de Cima FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agostinho Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agostinho Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Apuarema Junior defense, Frank Alves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agostinho Castro. The Apuarema Junior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agostinho Castro should have stopped the shot. Apuarema Junior's Agostinho Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Lopez in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Apuarema Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Dracena to maneuver through the defense.
