Agostinho Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Souza in the 22nd minute of play. Apuarema Junior's Léo Dracena managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Donatello Mumbach in the 25 minute of the game. After 25 minutes, Basílio Teixeira made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Juacaba FC's Alfredinho Furtado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredinho Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Dracena in the 30th minute of play. The long shot by Fernandinho Castro in the 34th minute really tested Alfredinho Furtado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alfredinho Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Teixeira in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Juacaba FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Romeu da Costa hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Wiliam Cruz made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Juacaba FC booed when Apuarema Junior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agostinho Castro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rony da Silva. Apuarema Junior's Agostinho Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Souza in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Fernandinho Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apuarema Junior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juacaba FC the free kick. Juacaba FC's Wiliam Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apuarema Junior's Sidnei Couto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tarcisio de Medeiros in the 70 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Teixeira in the 81st minute of play forced Juacaba FC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Basílio Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juacaba FC's Alfredinho Furtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Paulo Vidal struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alfredinho Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apuarema Junior.
