Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sydney Botelho made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo Ribeiro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C.A. XII de Junho's Guto Motta. Guto Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guto Motta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Paulo Ribeiro in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Sydney Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, C.A. XII de Junho's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino de Medeiros came free, but Guto Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaltino de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Simão de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C Santos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. XII de Junho the free kick. The referee gave C.A. XII de Junho a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dé Palmeira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C Santos's Luisinho Donatello. 1-1. Luiz Paulo Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Guto Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Santos. Isaltino de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Guto Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luiz Paulo Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the F.C Santos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Paulo Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Isaltino de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino de Medeiros in the 48th minute of play forced C.A. XII de Junho's goalkeeper Guto Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaltino de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Isaltino de Medeiros sped through C.A. XII de Junho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guto Motta. Luisinho Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Botelho in the 57th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Guto Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Santos. If Luiz Paulo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaltino de Medeiros in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, C.A. XII de Junho's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Ribeiro came free, but Guto Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luiz Paulo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guto Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Ribeiro in the 82nd minute of play. Guto Motta came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C Santos's Luiz Paulo Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Luiz Paulo Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Luiz Paulo Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Motta having to interfere. Guto Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Isaltino de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio de Lara got free with Luisinho Donatello in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F.C Santos fully deserved thier win.
