Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Pedro Lopez kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Guilhermino AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Schmidt came free, but Edinho Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Guilhermino AD booed when Pinheiral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Ronaldo Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Guilhermino AD's goalkeeper Edinho Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edson Freire. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinheiral's goalkeeper Anísio Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guilhermino AD's José Pedro Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, André Luiz Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinheiral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guilhermino AD the free kick. André Luiz Azevedo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pinheiral's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jefferson Pirani was slow to take the kick. During this time Guilhermino AD's players had a chance to rest. Edinho Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Schmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guilhermino AD! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronaldo Schmidt to strike the kick off in the second half. Edinho Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Freire in the 57th minute of the match. If José Pedro Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wanderson Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Anísio Veiga made a huge save. After 69 minutes, Edson Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinheiral and the Guilhermino AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wanderson Martins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Anísio Veiga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Ronaldo Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Lopez in the 77th minute of the match. When Guilhermino AD's José Pedro Lopez in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinheiral's goalie prevented a goal. Wanderson Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edinho Duarte came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinheiral's Ronaldo Schmidt. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Olavo Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pinheiral support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
