Guto Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Lopez in the 18th minute of the match. The C.A. XII de Junho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guto Motta should have stopped the shot. In the 86th match minute, C.A. XII de Junho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Duarte made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Acácio de Lara sent off a good shot on target. Guto Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
