Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oswaldo Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sandro Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandro Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th match minute, ALMFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Matos's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Jerônimo Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Correia, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. ALMFC's Eriberto Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Matos in the 16th minute of play. If Sandro Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sandro Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jerônimo Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Montenegro was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Sandro Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Eriberto Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, ALMFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Clarinia's Fabiano Correia tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Claudinho Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Montenegro having to make a save. When Clarinia's Claudinho Matos in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALMFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Sandro Borges put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eriberto Montenegro. If Oswaldo Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sandro Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clarinia's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Clarinia's Claudinho Matos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After having played for 85 minutes, Sandro Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clarinia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Claudinho Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clarinia's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudinho Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eriberto Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ALMFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clarinia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
