Simão Abraão took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Velloso. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Simão Abraão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgard Velloso. That made the score 0-6 in the 57 minute of play. Caio Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Duarte in the 66th minute of play. Lenílson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Ribamar got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Vander. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Wilton Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miragaia AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 76 minutes, Simão Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribamar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. César Marquez hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Miragaia AD's goalkeeper Edgard Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juninho Silva. 92 minutes in the game, Simão Abraão fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edgard Velloso having to interfere. If Simão Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ribamar booed when Miragaia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Ribamar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Miragaia AD.
