Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Clemente Correia got the match started through his kick off. Edgard Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Correia in the 5th minute of the match. Clemente Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Velloso having to interfere. Cajueiros's Belmiro Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilton Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rodriguinho Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenílson Duarte in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Munhoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miragaia AD's Edgard Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Miragaia AD from getting a goal against them. Belmiro Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Clemente Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cajueiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilton Souza to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Clemente Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Velloso. Miragaia AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Cajueiros booed when Miragaia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belmiro Linhares's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute.
