The supporters of Cajueiros booed when Ribamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Correia spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ribamar's goal. Walmir Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Caio Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Correia in the 6th minute of the match. Simão Abraão might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodriguinho Munhoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simão Abraão ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Cauan Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Artur Mazza in the 13th minute really tested Caio Rosa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Clemente Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Rosa having to interfere. Ribamar's Caio Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Correia in the 18th minute of play. Belmiro Linhares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio Rosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Abraão in the 24th minute of play forced Cajueiros's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmir Branco's late challenge caught a Cajueiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmir Branco helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Ribamar got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Branco. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Correia got free with Caio Rosa in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Luís da Mata hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Correia in the 34th minute of play forced Ribamar's goalkeeper Caio Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Cajueiros's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Abraão came free, but Rodriguinho Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Juninho Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribamar's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ribamar's goalkeeper Caio Rosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Luís da Mata hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Ribamar's Cauan Moreno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodriguinho Munhoz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When Simão Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ribamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão Abraão couldn't finish the play. Rodriguinho Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Vágner Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belmiro Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Caio Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Simão Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cajueiros getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Erivaldo Secco hit a great ball. Simão Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Juninho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rodriguinho Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Cauan Moreno from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Rodriguinho Munhoz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Juninho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rodriguinho Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Simão Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Cajueiros got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Saldanha. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Juninho Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribamar's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Ribamar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cajueiros.
