Albinopolis FC's Tarcisio Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Albinopolis FC from getting a goal against them. Tarcisio Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Torres in the 7th minute. If Dino Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tarcisio Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulinho Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulinho Moreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tarcisio Leão. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Tarcisio Leão came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Zrinjski Mostar's Dino Torres. But to his dismay, Dino Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 22nd minute, Zrinjski Mostar's Adrianinho Prata dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. When Zrinjski Mostar's Paulinho Moreira in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Albinopolis FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulinho Moreira in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcisio Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Dino Torres fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tarcisio Leão, passed just outside the right post. Tarcisio Leão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dino Torres went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Paulinho Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Leão having to interfere. Mazinho Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Tarcisio Leão made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Zrinjski Mostar's Paulinho Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tarcisio Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Dedé Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albinopolis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zrinjski Mostar the free kick. Dino Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tarcisio Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedé Almeida was the one to do the kick off. Paulinho Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Leão having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Dino Torres made a precise shot to the right of Tarcisio Leão. Albinopolis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Albinopolis FC's Tarcisio Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Torres in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Albinopolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Moreira came free, but Tarcisio Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Leão having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Albinopolis FC's goalkeeper Tarcisio Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dino Torres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tarcisio Leão was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Tarcisio Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Moreira in the 82nd minute of the match.
