With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilton Botelho in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Pinheiro saved Anelio from getting behind. When Nilton Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Branco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilton Botelho couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Anelio got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Pinho. In the 12th minute, Matheus Coutinho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Anelio's Percy Pinheiro didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Botelho in the 14th minute of play forced Anelio's goalkeeper Percy Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Branco FC booed when Anelio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Botelho in the 22nd minute of play. Vicente Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Anelio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Vides to maneuver through the defense. Nilton Botelho spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Anelio's goal. If Vicente Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nilton Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Branco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilton Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percy Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anelio's Percy Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Botelho in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Vicente Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nilton Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Vicente Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Branco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anelio's Percy Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Anelio from getting a goal against them. With his leg Percy Pinheiro managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Branco FC's Vicente Vidal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Branco FC's Nilton Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Branco FC booed when Anelio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheus Coutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Percy Pinheiro. Anelio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 82nd minute when Vicente Vidal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Nilton Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Branco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vicente Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Vidal in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Percy Pinheiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Percy Pinheiro was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Nilton Botelho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nilton Botelho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. When the match was over Branco FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anelio throughout the match.
