Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nilton Botelho made the kick off which started today's match. Agudos AD's Dida de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Agudos AD from getting a goal against them. If Vicente Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute Sidney da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Sidney da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Bertassi came free, but Antônio Carlos Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Vidal came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dida de Senna could save by the left post. If Nilton Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida de Senna having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match, Nilton Botelho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dida de Senna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vicente Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dida de Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Nilton Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Agudos AD's Sidney da Mata in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Branco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida de Senna having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Nilton Botelho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dida de Senna. The goal made the score 1-0. If Nilton Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes, Branco FC's Júlio Messias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dida de Senna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Branco FC reached it. Nilton Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida de Senna having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidney da Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Luiz Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nilton Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida de Senna having to interfere. Vicente Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dida de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovânio França was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, one of Agudos AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Agudos AD. The referee gave Branco FC a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matheus Coutinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Agudos AD's Dida de Senna. 2-0. Nilton Botelho took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida de Senna. Dida de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Dida de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Nilton Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Branco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilton Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Agudos AD's zone, Nilton Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida de Senna came out of the goal and Nilton Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dida de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Botelho in the 95th minute of play. After 98 played minutes, Branco FC's Fabiano Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dida de Senna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Branco FC reached it. When the referee ended the match the Branco FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
