Víktor Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caririacu's Fellipe Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Zilles in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Caririacu got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Penha. Fellipe Carioca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulinho Abraão in the 15th minute. If Paulinho Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fellipe Carioca made a huge save. Caririacu's Fellipe Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Caririacu from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Penha in the 42nd minute of play forced Refugio AD's goalkeeper Guilherme Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbson Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbson Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Gomes having to make a save.

In the 53rd minute Paulinho Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mazinho Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Víktor Senna hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. João Vítor Zilles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Refugio AD getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Mazinho Penha hit a great ball. Róbson Penha might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guilherme Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbson Penha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th minute, Frederico Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Caririacu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Refugio AD throughout the match.
