Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jarbas Penha started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cabreuva's zone, Hudson Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Souza came out of the goal and Hudson Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hudson Proença in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Souza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mazinho Cearense struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Leonel Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabreuva. 18 minutes into the match, Jequie SS's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Hermes came free, but Leonel Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cabreuva booed when Jequie SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Pires having to interfere. Hudson Proença struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Christian Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jequie SS. Hudson Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rdth minute of the game Jarbas Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabreuva's Christian Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarbas Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Souza having to interfere. Hudson Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Christian Souza made a huge save. When Hudson Proença got free in front of the goal in the 41st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Christian Souza was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Christian Souza didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Christian Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Penha in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osmar Hermes was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Cabreuva getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jardel Martins hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Laércio Barros sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cabreuva's Christian Souza didn't even have to move. Magno Campidelis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Christian Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hudson Proença in the 60th minute of the match. Christian Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Linhares went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jequie SS's Hudson Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cabreuva's Christian Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Penha in the 68th minute of play. Christian Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 73 minutes, Jarbas Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jequie SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarbas Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias da Fonseca hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Hudson Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute Jarbas Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cabreuva's zone, Jarbas Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Souza came out of the goal and Jarbas Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hudson Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jequie SS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
