Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 7thth minute of the game Nilton Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aparaju EC's Dedé Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Aparaju EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Nilton Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dedé Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Donatello Rezende made a precise shot to the right of Dedé Luz. Aparaju EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sidnei Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ingleses Esporte Clube's Dadá Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Secco in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Nilton Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ingleses Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Aparaju EC's zone, Nilton Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dedé Luz came out of the goal and Nilton Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ingleses Esporte Clube's Nilton Leal in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aparaju EC's goalie prevented a goal. Sandrinho Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilton Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Luz having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Ingleses Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Vergílio. Ingleses Esporte Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Murilo Secco 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murilo Secco was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Sandrinho Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Nilton Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nilton Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedé Luz was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The supporters of Aparaju EC booed when Ingleses Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilton Leal had several of the Aparaju EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Dedé Luz as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Nilton Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Donatello Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ingleses Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donatello Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nilton Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donatello Rezende struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dedé Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingleses Esporte Clube. Aparaju EC's Dedé Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Leal in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Luizinho Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilton Leal in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Luz saved Aparaju EC from getting behind. Donatello Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Aparaju EC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Alves. Nilton Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Luz having to interfere. Donatello Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Ingleses Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto de Amorim. When the match was over Ingleses Esporte Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aparaju EC throughout the match.
