Aparaju EC's Dedé Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Aparaju EC from getting a goal against them. Luizinho Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murilo Secco struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hudson Quintal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aparaju EC. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Breckenfeld got free with Dedé Luz in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Dé Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Murilo Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Aparaju EC's Murilo Secco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hudson Quintal. Hudson Quintal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Rogério do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
