Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sandrinho Trancoso kicked off to start the match. Bruno Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Alberto Lago struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Doni Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aunas EC. Aunas EC's Erik Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Atlético do Vale got a freekick which was hit by Severino Diniz. Doni Campidelis made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Erik Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Edvaldo da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Atlético do Vale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Edvaldo da Mata struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Doni Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aunas EC. 33 minutes into the match, Erik Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doni Campidelis. Atlético do Vale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 44 played minutes Aunas EC got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Batista. Aunas EC's Leopoldo Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Diniz in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquinhos de Lara was the one to do the kick off. Severino Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doni Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Trancoso in the 61st minute of play. Sandrinho Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Campidelis having to interfere. Doni Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Trancoso in the 64th minute of play. Severino Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Leopoldo Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético do Vale's zone, Erik Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Campidelis came out of the goal and Erik Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Leopoldo Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernandinho Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. When Marquinhos de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Atlético do Vale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos de Lara couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Atlético do Vale's Severino Diniz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.
